We believe that anyone can be a scientist. Some people's journey in this discipline started in school but others' started at home, at work, in their hobby, online, or a myriad of other locations. Regardless of how or where one came to science, BwoB offers classes and events to help continue your exploration.
Since our founding in 2017 we have:
- hosted over 60 free talks and open house events where 7,290 people participated in discussions around bioscience, bioart and bioethics.
- engaged over 1,000 citizen scientists in hands-on exploration through 100+ classes and workshops taught by experts from our local community and beyond.
