What would you explore invent create if you had access to a professional biolab?

The Laboratory

All lab members must complete our lab training designed to equip members with the ability to identify potential hazards, the confidence to reach out for support, and the knowledge to work in the lab safely.

Our equipment

In order to use equipment, members must demonstrate their familiarity to a more senior member to ensure that the equipment will not be damaged so we can continue to offer the use of our facilities to the community.

As part of our mission to democratize the tools of biotechnology, Biotech Without Borders provides access to a BSL1 biological lab facilities.

We provide some disposables at a reduced cost, such as gloves, pipette tips, plates, tubes, etc. However, in general, Members must purchase their own consumables and reagents.
